Spring
I love that when spring is supposed to come, it actually comes here in Appalachia. None of this wishy-washy maybe it'll snow or maybe I'll have to keep the fires going a while longer or whatever. Trees and flowers blooming, the birds and bees orgy in the front yard, longer days with warm sunsets, yep, spring is here.
Bookcase
PJ decied she wanted to help me out, so just to totally freak out all the grandmothers out there, she got the birds eye view!
Bookcase project
I decided I needed a strong architectural accent on my big blank yellow wall and so begins a new project: a 12 foot long bookcase, 7 feet high constructed around a new free standing gas fireplace.
New Roof in progress
Well, it's been a while, but I have been a bit busy with wedding planning, storm cleanup and just being a single dad, but I finally got the new roof on last week. More finished product pictures to follow.
