These are the latest from the back hill, early September I believe. Not very old, but the body size and antler development is outstanding. The young one should be a stud in a couple years. The older, well, he might decorate my wall and my freezer. Love these Ahia (Ohio) deer. Opening day, Saturday, a couple of baby bucks came to visit, a spike and a forked horn, but I decided that proper deer management called for at least three more years of respiratory and cardiac function for them.
