We had such a great time on our honeymoon, and I had blast seeing parts of the country I had never been through before. For Arlen it was like giving a tour of his childhood, but we had a lot of fun. We started off in Albany OR, and drove down along the coast to Gold Beach and the Rogue River. After a day long jet boat ride up the river, we watched the sunset over the ocean and the whales swimming in the waves. The next day we were off to northern California and the Redwood forest. After a horrible drive on a windy road, we were once again driving along the ocean. Next stop was Lake Tahoe! We stayed two nights at Harveys with a great lake view, went to Weds night meeting with some folks in Carson City at Velma Bunch's home. Then we spent a night with Dave and Jean VanDenBerg, which was so much fun. The next day we left for Klamath Falls and had meeting at Mike and Denise Bechdolts. After meeting we drove to Crater Lake to play in some snow and then on to Bend. There we stayed with Shaunas in-laws, before bringing her and Emma back with us to Albany.

California coast...just stopped to walk around a bit before getting back in the car to keep on driving.
YAY to get out of the car! After a very windy drive down HW-1...we pulled over to check out the sights. The cliffs here are so pretty!
