Wel, it is hunting season and although I haven't been out much, my camera suer has. Not too many "giant" deer theis year, but so far several nice ones. These are the most recent, in fact one was within a few hours of me crawling up the tree haha. Then my trail cam caught a rather unruly character coming down the trail in that last one, thought you should see what ohio hunting looks like. Not a pretty sight. Hope everyone has a fantastic season, and do your children a favor, get them in the woods, they'll appreciate it when they grow up.
We've been out, as have three of our four kids already this year, none of them can draw a bow yet, so they are just along for the ride until shotgun season. Karl shot two within 30 minutes of each other, the other day, but only recovered one - the other ran onto some adjoining private property. :( We haven't hunted our own little lot yet, but we may be going to start! Just last night I saw a big buck in the field in front of the house! :) We'll see . . . the season is shaping up to be a good one. Hope yours is as great or better!
ReplyDeleteWe arrived home safely from our hunting trek! It was nice to not have to deal with actual hunting just visiting! I know what a traitorous (is this actually a word???) thing to say! We had a great time and I know Floyd sent you pictures of the deer the boys got. Managed to sneak home on a sun shiny day between two major rain storms! Staying in today and watching football, washing clothes and catching up on postings! Love you guys, Mom
